Peel Thunder have cruised into the 2026 WAFL grand final after defeating Claremont by 28-points in a semi final showdown at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday.
Coach Adam Read said it was a hard fought match.
"Really tough, physical game...they jumped us early but to the boy's credit we were able to get the game back on our terms," he said.
"I thought our guys showed great maturity to turn the tide and ultimately walk away with the win."
Lachlan Tardrew led the way with 28 disposals, six tackles and a goal, while Jaren Carr contributed with 29 disposals.
Charlie Nicholls was also a standout with three goals and Tobyn Murray kicked two.
The minor premiers will now take on the winner of Sunday's preliminary final between the Tigers and East Perth.
"Intrigued to find out how that prelim final plays out, Claremont have been first or second most of the year and East Perth have come from fifth and won a couple of really good, close finals so it should be a good battle," Read said.
The WAFL grand final will be held at Optus Stadium on September 20.
It will be Peel's fifth grand final appearance in club history.
