Police have seized 135 firearms from so-called 'sovereign citizens' across Western Australia following the fatal shooting of two police officers in Victoria.
The state-wide operation saw police conduct raids at 70 addresses over five days last week.
A total of seven people were charged with 18 offences ranging from failing to properly store a firearm, possessing a controlled weapon (compound bow) and possession of cannabis.
During the raids, 135 firearms were seized and 44 firearm licences were cancelled or suspended.

“As Police Commissioner, the safety of our community and of my police officers is always my number one concern," Police Commissioner Col Blanch said.
“Individuals whose beliefs align with so called sovereign citizen ideologies do not believe the laws passed by elected members of parliament should apply to them.
“The recent murder of two serving police officers in country Victoria was allegedly committed by a sovereign citizen.
“Following this tragedy, I instructed my officers to conduct a review and risk assessment of those individuals in Western Australia who are licensed firearm holders and whose beliefs align with sovereign citizen ideology.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the officers who participated in this operation.
“It was not without risk, but its successful completion reduces future risk to our community and our blue family."
Alleged Victorian gunman Dezi Freeman remains on the run followed the shooting death of two Victorian police officers in August.
