Major Crash Investigation officers continue to investigate a fatal crash in Flint, which occurred overnight.
Around 10 and 11:15pm, a woman was driving a green Ford Falcon sedan along the Brookton Highway, when approaching Watershed Road her vehicle left the road and struck several trees.

The vehicle caught fire which sparked a nearby bushfire.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze.
Sadly, the 53-year-old woman died at the scene.
Authorities are calling for witness to come forward who saw the crash or the Ford Falcon sedan travelling in the area prior to the incident.
