Major Crash Investigation Unit officers are investigating a fatal crash which occurred in Irishtown overnight.
Around 11pm on 9 October 2018, a 34 year old man was driving a Toyota Landcruiser in a south westerly direction along Frenches Road.
As he approached the rail crossing east of Haddrill Road, the man lost control before rolling onto the railway tracks.
The driver, a 34 year old man of Quinns Rocks, died at the scene of the crash.
