Mandurah Detectives are now looking for the drivers of two cars involved in a dispute after a woman was struck in the head with a socket extender in Greenfields.
The 45-year-old woman was driving her white Ford Falcon sedan on Murdoch Drive around 7pm on Tuesday, September 15 and as she turned left onto Mississippi Drive a man ran up to her car and threw the tool through her driver's window.
It hit the woman in the head leaving a large cut that required 18 staples.
Detectives believe there was a dispute involving two cars near 65 Murdoch Drive around the time of the incident and believe they may be able to assist their investigation.
One of the vehicles is described as a silver/grey Holden Commodore sedan, possibly a VX (early 2000’s model) model.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a light skinned woman, in her 30s with a medium build, short mousey/blonde hair cut short at the back and sides, similar to an “undercut” style.
Mandurah Detectives would like to speak to the occupants of these vehicles to see if they can assist with enquiries.
