A 26-year-old man has been charged with several offences after allegedly threatening the occupants of a home in Parmelia with a firearm before he was later arrested in Port Kennedy.
The man allegedly entered the home of a person known to him on Camfield Loop in Parmelia around 11.45am on Sunday, March 22.
He allegedly threatened the occupants with a firearm before stealing personal property and fleeing the scene.
"With the assistance of the Tactical Response Group, Police Air Wing and Rapid Apprehension Squad, Rockingham Detectives arrested the accused at a residence on Chinchilla Parkway in Port Kennedy," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"A search was conducted at the address, during which a firearm, ammunition, a quantity of cannabis, and various items that it will be alleged were stolen during separate incidents were located."
The Kwinana man has been charged with a string of offences including armed robbery, threatening to kill, unlawful possession of a firearm, pointing a firearm at another person and possession of a prohibited drug.
He is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
